About Thursday's Child
This group's goal is to showcase great children's photography while creating a nurturing environment for both amateur and professional photographers alike.
Membership is by invitation only. Since we are aiming for a community, we would like this group to grow in numbers by adding contacts, friends and family. If you're not able to join, please don't be offended. We want to keep this group small enough so that it is becomes a place where amateur and professional child photographers can give and receive encouragement, creative criticism, and kudos. Not feel that their photos are being lost in the shuffle.
There are no commenting rules per se, but people who regularly add photos but rarely comment on other's photos will be asked to be more involved or leave the group. We don't want to sound harsh, but there are enough child photography pools. We want to create a once-a-week child photography community.
Posting is open from Wednesday - Friday (PST) so if you post before or after; your post will not be entered into the pool until the following week.
This is a family-friendly group (obviously) and so only safe images will be accepted. Any questionable images will be removed from the pool. I believe in using an abundance of caution, so no offense is intended if your photo is rejected. All members posting images of children should be careful with what they post and the information they allow to be made public. Anyone having images of their child marked as "favorite" is advised to check into the profile and pictures of the person so doing.
Any concerns should be addressed to me personally via Flickr mail.
