27 Mar 08 - Welcome all shutterbug purists!

Having been away from serious amateur photography for a number of years, I am now getting back in in a meaningful way (Canon 40D, Digital Rebel, Oly point & shoot) and as well am pretty new to Flickr, still much to learn.

Maybe I am a victim of may age, but I appreciate simple photographs, recalling the days when film cost money and as such, more thought went into the shot at the time it was taken in order to "get it right".

Keep it pure now, no cheating !

About Through the Lens Only - Unretouched Photos

This group is for folks who attempt to create drama, composition and interestingness through the lens and not in post production or with Photoshop.

Please submit Raw images only, straight from the camera, no cropping, coloring or textures added. Use of lens filters is OK.

NOTHING against Photoshop, but there are many manipulated images on flicker and I am just looking for a home for folks who wish to post raw images with some thought to
creativity, drama, composition.

If you are a big photoshopper, feel free to post your originals, pre-shopped, we would love to see them

The idea is to show that thought went into setting up the shot.
