04 Jan 10 - Nearly every day of the calendar has something interesting, funny or otherwise engaging which a photo could be made of it. These include This day in History type facts, major and not so major holidays and other events. All of these are fair game for this group. Regardless of it's name :=)
About This Day In History 2010
This group is about making photographs that relate to this day in history, or other observed events during the year 2010. Events will usually be a distinct day but could include an event month such as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" or "National Snow Cone Week" (ok I made that second one up). In a lot of ways the more obscure the event or day the better and it will lead to a lot of creativity.
Pinned Threads
Since flickr doesn't really allow thread pinning I will just add topics that we decide to 'pin' here

Guidelines
Members are encouraged to post often; though this is not meant as a 'photo a day' group -- members could certainly post that often. Members are not required to take the photo on the day in question and can use photos in their archives or make them up ahead of time if they wish.
Members are also encouraged to contribute photos on the day in question, or as close to that day as possible if that isn't practical.
Members are allowed to submit up to two photos a day and should not submit any more than two photos relating to a single event.
All photos submitted to this group should have in their description an indication of the event being depicted.
