This group is for the expressive and understated use of the phrase "That's something you don't see every day"! ... Not the literal use. Pictures should be of subjects that make you say that phrase out loud. As in, something you probably haven't seen - ever - and will likely never see again. This group is not for things that you literally don't see every day, but do see from time to time.

Imagine you're travelling in another part of the country or the globe, and you see some people doing something that really catches you by surprise. That's kind-of what this group is about. Unusual pictures of uncommon sites (uncommon for most people, that is).

Examples:
- Candid shots of people involved in highly unusual or fascinating activities.
- While vacationing, you may see something that, although common place where you are visiting, is something you would have never imagined.
- Old traditions that are still practiced somewhere.
- People or creatures caught doing something so bizarre, awkward, or perhaps so extremely cliché, that you wouldn't actually expect to see such a thing.
- Rare creatures.

Pictures that don't conform to the spirit of the group will be removed. You are encouraged to keep trying. If you are the type of person who takes exception to having your pictures removed, do not join this group.
