About "Things" on tour Matte Painting

This group is a Matte Painting Group where we place unlikely objects into another image. The aim is to use the same or similar lighting and perspectives for the objects.

This group is based on the idea arising from a phenomena several years ago we in New Zealand had garden gnomes go missing from some gardens only to have the owners receive photographs later with the missing gnome to appear in front of some famous landmarks, at first around New Zealand and then later further afield in Egypt, France etc etc. This series is in a similar vein, instead of garden gnomes on tour, this the derelict house on tour. A bit more ambitious, than a garden gnome, it is hard to carry a DH onto a plane and then try to explain it to the customs and border control folks.
