And "Thingies" includes bus or tram shelters or stops, pavement seats, bas relief carving on plaques, traction fittings, weird plumbing or electrical installations, shop awning posts, lamp posts, water fountains, hydrants: you just have to look around you next time you are in town with your camera or cell phone!

About Thingies, Whatsnames and Pavement Ornaments.This group is very frivolous and light-hearted. It seeks to gather lots of photos and drawings, paintings, etc, of pavement ornaments, statues and obelisks. It doesn't matter how irreverent they are, but any thingies with grafitti on will be instantly deleted. |
