About Thing a Week

The challenge: To take a picture on a different theme every week.

1. We pick a new theme every week.
2. You take a photograph inspired by that theme.
3. You add just one picture to the group by the Sunday evening deadline.

Some other groundrules:

• Take a new picture! Your Thing must be taken during the week of the challenge. No recycling!

• No digital manipulation! Post processing is okay, but limit yourself to what could be produced with traditional filters and darkroom techniques. Ultimately, this is an exercise in photography, not Photoshop.

• The deadline is Sunday evening, midnight GMT, but try and aim a bit earlier if you want more feedback on your images.

• There are no winners or losers (but there are badges!). Mainly though, just try to give the type of constructive feedback on others entries as you would like yourself.
