En amont de la douzaine d’huîtres sur son lit de glace, il y a un univers coloré et photogénique, celui de l’ostréiculture avec ses cabanes, ses chalands, son outillage et ses paysages. Il y a aussi un métier et une tradition ancienne en constante évolution avec ses professionnels, des gens habités par la mer.

Parce qu’il s’agit de photographie et que nous sommes motivées par le plaisir en créant ce groupe, nous voulons réunir ici des photos aux qualités esthétiques certaines, qu’il s’agisse d’une vision personnelle, d’un projet artistique ou d’un témoignage à valeur documentaire.

Et puis, dans le but de recréer dans ce groupe l'atmosphère conviviale des villages ostréicoles, prenons le temps de bavarder ensemble! Nous vous demandons de déposer un petit mot sous l'une des photos affichées chaque fois que vous en déposez une nouvelle.

Upstream from the dozen of oysters on a bed of crushed ice, there is a colourful and picturesque world, that of oyster farming, with its shacks, boats, tools and landscapes. There is also a vocation and an ancient tradition, both constantly evolving, and professionals, people inhabited by the sea.

Because this is about photography and because pleasure is the motive behind the creation of this group, what we want to gather here are photos with clear aesthetic qualities, be they a reflection of a personal look on things, an artistic project or a documentation of this oyster farming world.
