09 Apr 09 - You are photographers who take pictures with an expectation of the result sought after. However, sometimes, a photograph you have taken can physically shock you in it's excellence or beauty. "No way. I couldn't have taken that !" is the reaction the group is looking for when you submit a photograph to the pool. Whether delivered back in the post, or more exciting still, under your very careful nurturing in the darkroom, we'd love to see the few photographs that have had a profound effect on you.

About The Shock of Latent Imagery Non-Imagined. [Digital and Film]

Having taken a photograph using film, the latent image that exists before development is truly a mystical entity. However, everyone has a photograph that has taken them completely by surprise whether digital or film based. The latent image within digital captures may have current equivalent values. Maybe it's in the fleeting moment of eyes from subject to camera back and a WOW factor similarly exists when greeting the unexpected. Whatever your feelings regarding the digital / film debate we would love you to share this experience with others and pick the photographs you have taken that have taken your breath away. We'd love to see them.
