The Sagittarian Woman

Sagittarius, a fire sign, means a strong individual: restless, creative, vibrant. The key word for Sagittarius women is "aspiration." They aspire to reach the heights and are seldom content with staying in a rut. They like to be on the go, and want to see what lies beyond the horizon. They love travel, both physical and mental. They are great visionaries and dreamers -- farseeing and usually inclined to philosophy. Sagittarians are eager to do battle for justice and are usually outspoken about it. They will challenge anyone with whose views they disagree. At the same time, they are diplomatic, and they seldom offend anyone seriously since their humor and happy-go-lucky spirit are highly contagious.

Sagittarius women are seldom the kind to "keep their place", even in more repressive times. They are natural rule-breakers, and can be very forceful and aggressive in getting their point across. At the same time, they are honest, fair-minded, and have the ability to laugh at themselves, and so people forgive them readily.

A Sagittarius woman may have a quick temper, but she's over it almost immediately and ready to make up. She can also be very thoughtful and insightful, making far-reaching connections that other women miss.

Usually Sagittarian women love physical action and need lots of exercise to let off steam. Mental exploration is also essential for their well-being. They need an environment that stimulates them intellectually as well as physically.

They often gravitate towards teaching on the college level or to the field of law. They always seek the broadest, most comprehensive view of women and events. Anything less than this, anything narrow or limited, exasperates them beyond endurance.

In love relationships, Sagittarian women make loyal and truthful companions. They mean what they say, and you can trust them. Although emotional intimacy is important, they want their partner to support some dream or cause that they both share. These women can't imagine a relationship that confines them to the narrow boundaries of the home.

If you love a Sagittarian, let's hope you can match her idealistic nature and won't try to tie her down to the mundane level. If you give her freedom to pursue ideals, she will make an honest effort to make your relationship work. Just because she wants to take off for some meeting or go on a trip does not mean she is not loyal to your love. She's just acting out her idealistic, restless nature.
