About The Original Portraits

A group for original portraiture that stands out from the generic, proclaiming a victory for art!

I made this group after leaving another similar group whose moderator was very biased with their incoming photographs, choosing not photos that showed originality, but more photos that he... liked.

This group is here to collect the original portraiture that Flickr has to offer, and I will moderate the group fairly, as some of the great rejected photos of the other group deserved a place more than "a black and white close up of a face" (eight times).

Thank you very much for your interest in the group, I hope we can grow together in collecting TRULY original portraiture.
