About The Original Event

During March 9–13, 2009 and March 16–20, 2009, Mission Year is bringing together the nation for The Original Event.

The purpose of the Original Event is to come behind Hurricanes Gustav and Ike by gutting and building houses during the day and learning from chosen mentors each night.

This group is a way to share your photos and experiences helping restore the Houston/Galveston Area. Also those who can't attend can follow The Original Event through these photos.
