About Then vs. Now

This group is about comparing the past with the present.
Have certain aspects of life gotten better or worse, did things look better then they do today, are we making progress or regress?

Combine two images, one showing a subject in the past and one showing it as it looks today.
Describe what we are looking at and ask people to decide which they prefer; the way things were or the way things are.
You may only upload one image per subject so you must combine them.
How you combine the two photo's is up to you, you can simply put them next to each other in one new image or use photoshop techniques to make it more arty.
As long as the two subjects are related.

For instance, on the left you place a photo showing a nurse from the 1940s, on the right you add a photo of a nurse as they look today.
Your question could be; "Then vs. now; How 1940s nurses looked or how modern nurses look.

Any subject is allowed, art, architecture, fashion, design, etc.

The idea is that people think about how things have changed and if perhaps sometimes things don't always get better, prettier, stylish-er.
