Share your Migratory Birds Photos!

Migratory Birds are often the bellwether of our environment, and are among the very first to be affected by changes to their ecosystems.

Post your favorite bird photo to the group -- and tag it with Birds-TNC11 -- and we may use it in the coming months to help raise awareness for these special creatures.

Inspire Others with Your Golden State Photos

Treasured for its miles of dramatic mountainous coast, sandy beaches and redwood forests, California is one of the few places on Earth that contains this rich an array of stunning landscapes and seascapes. It’s a place we love and a place worth protecting. Let’s show the world what inspires our passion.

We’ve worked hard for decades to protect our great natural places—and your photos will illustrate why. Whether it’s the waves crashing against the cliffs of Big Sur, a desert flower springing forth or a family playing at the beach, share your favorite photos of your California.

Please tag your photos with “California-TNC11” and they may be used to help inspire others. Let’s celebrate our great landscapes and habitats! Learn more >>

Share Your Nature Photos of the Garden State

New Jersey is home to several spectacular landscapes that define who we are as the Garden State. The Bayshores region of southern New Jersey is a relatively intact natural area acknowledged as one of the Earth’s most important stopovers for migratory birds. The Skylands of northern New Jersey are marked by sweeping vistas, dense forests, and sprawling farms. With large expanses of remarkably intact forest, the Kittatinny Ridge and Valley is dotted with freshwater wetlands, glacial bogs, pristine streams, ponds and lakes. Stretching across southern and central New Jersey are the iconic Pine Barrens , home to a surprising array of plants, animals and habitats.

These natural lands and waters also improve the quality of life for people and help fuel local economies. Help us show, through your photographs, the irreplaceable value of these special places.

Please tag your images with “NewJersey-TNC10” and your photo may be used to help inspire others and support conservation projects in New Jersey. Photos of Nature Conservancy preserves within New Jersey are especially welcome! Learn More >>
