Guidelines for judges!

HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL GUIDELINES FOR THE JUDGES:
_ Winners No.1 and No.2 will, together, judge the new 'Theme of the
Week' the following Sunday. (new theme every sunday night)
- It is not just beneficial, but vital that the judges contact one
another, preferably mid-week (Wednesday), to exchange greetings
and discuss tactics.
- A suggestion is that you narrow your' faves down to your' Top 10,
share with the other judge, by sending links via mail, and from those decide on the 3
Winners. (This would be best done on the Monday, as it gives time
for all entrants to place their works.)
- You should also check that all chosen photos are within the stated date!
- The Admins are always here to help and support you in any queries
you have!
- The judges should post a new thread/topic, stating the winners on
the Monday evening/night, BST. They should post a small photo of
each winner, with the rank above!

It would be better if a winner can not judge by some reasons, that the one contact the other winner or the admins in time, so we can contact the winner nr 3 to step in the jury.

Guideline-thought: as a jurist looking at each image closely, I composed my list of top 10 only from shots that fit into the dated timeline. (I recall that my favorite shot had unfortunately also been one not within the dated week, and it was sad to not include it ... :( )
Some off-dates slip through, and who better to note them than the jurists in the final look.

Yes, this should be taken into account, I had thought of writing this, but didn't want to make the job of jurist seem too complicated! I try each day to remove photos that are outwith the stated date! ;)

Hi,
Just an update for future judges, the deadlines have been adjusted in the following post from LiseMac:
Along with some help from group members, we have decided that the submissions for 'Theme of the Week' will be closed on Sunday at 10pm (BST), and winners posted on Monday! This gives people some extra time to submit over the weekend, and judges more time to decide winners!
