First of all I have to say that was very very difficult to choose the winners because of the photos high quality (Best of 2007!!)!
The honorable mention goes to the beauty of "The Smile" by Kiki J.
It has a "National Geographic Magazine" quality, in my opinion. Red shirt and blue cap are amazing, but the best thing is that pure eyes. Lovely shot!
Another mention goes to "Anonymous" by ubiquity_zh for its incredible idea and composition. It gives me a solitude sense and a lonelyness of human nature. Very good the Black and white choice.
The Runner Up is the fantastic "Mother and son" by Meagan H.. It gives me a nostalgia sense of years passed by. That old fashioned touch of class is pretty good. But the best thing here, it is the great composition, with game's lights and shadows. DOF is perfect and so sharpness. A "first class" photo!
But my heart stopped here... "Father & Daughter" by TwoCrabs.
I don't have (and i don't want to find...) many words about that photo.
It speaks for me and for all of us. Simply, it is the shot of life.

sorry it has taken me so long to post my thank you have been on a trip and without a computer for a week! thank you so much for this, I am shocked to have even placed with so many awesome entries...
This was taken at a friends wedding, and the lighting was so just right that I couldn't help my self.
