Exapmle: I think I got it to 1.85 to 1 check, I think they have even more drama at 2 to 1 or 2.5 to 1.
Movie Title: Deliverance :) (A whitewater whitetrash love story)

Here is the original this was created from. (You don't need to post your originals)

Bayat, Technically, No. We wouldn't want to place too much on less skilled Photoshoppers (is that a word). We want this to be, for some folks, more of a learning exercise on basic cropping. Rather than having them worry about "what the hell is aspect ratio". for the more experienced. I think the 1.85/1 is an admirable goal, but I doubt the judge will be measuring with more that the eye (that is up to him or her).
Franco: the rule is 1. I'd have to say that 1 is the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be 1. Unless Kaddy contradicts me here. He'll be admin'n this one after tomorrow as I will be unavailable for at least a couple of days... and then only sparsely available.

Hey Acreeping- (Creep? ACM? Malaise? Your username just doesn't lend itself well to shortening!) Just wanted to mention that you've got "cinema" spelled wrong in a couple of places on your announcement , including the header. Took me a minute to figure out what a "cimema" was! :)

I thought "cimema" was standing for something I don't know. A photographical term maybe :)

This is by no means an entry, but am I pushing the boundaries of wideness with this?

Only my opinion, but since it makes you have to scroll sideways, I think it's too wide. Great shot tho.

RichardLowkes, just think of the widescreen TV. It's really quite simple. But hey, that's an awesome shot!

CIMEMA: I used a 1 bit encryption algorithm on the word so as to hide its true meaning. I see that several of the clever cryptologists among you were able to decipher the coded message. For the others, may I suggest a "Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Ring" to make future messages less baffling.
( ran it thru spell czecker, it didn't catch it cause it's upper case. I didn't catch it cause I am a BAD proofreader; I was out that day of skool. ;)

Eddy, you were very good in hiding the true meaning. And it was a good idea because the competition is not open yet. Some crypted discussion is in order.

I never even noticed Cinema was being spelled Cimema - I guess my mind knew what word he was saying and so only seen what it thought I should? LOL
Who knows?! I'm the worlds worst speller so I try not to correct anyone!
The competition opens MONDAY correct? *Looks down at her date and time on the PC* Yup... Monday would be the 13th.
Ok see ya'all then!
