All photos must be taken within Guatemala, Chiapas, the Yucatan peninsula, Belize (except for the Cayes), western Honduras, and western El Salvador. I expect to see pics of Mayan people, pics of the Mayan way of life, some Mayan ruins, Spanish colonial buildings, street scenes, landscapes, wildlife, and volcanoes.

Hundreds of years ago until the Spaniards came, this area was inhabited by the great Mayan civilization. Today it is a fascinating place full of culture, beautiful landscapes, Mayan ruins and other historical sites, colonial buildings, exotic wildlife, and volcanoes. |
