About The Thematorium:: CONTEST #119:: Bokeh Challenge with props ::
The Thematorium is a group open to all and aims to provide a creative outlet for like-minded photographers, both amateur and professional, for personal expression through challenging perception and perspectives through a variety of themes.
Basically, it’s simple… once you join the group you are free to take part in the bi-weekly challenges. A different theme will be set every 2 weeks; it can range from anything specific like “apples” to something vague like “the language of the world”.
We encourage you to interpret the themes as loosely as possible, think outside the box, do something unexpected; we are interested to see how diverse your perspectives are.
Timeline
New themes are released on FRIDAYS. You will have a week and a half to shoot, produce, and submit your shots. Entries are due two MONDAYS after the theme release.
Voting will take place from Tuesday to Thursday.
(For more information on the timeline, see this thread.)
Rotating Moderator
The MOD of the week will be the winner of the previous week's theme. Their responsibilities would be to CHOOSE the new theme, OPEN the contest, COUNT the votes, and ANNOUNCE the winners.
However, if the winner doesn't feel up to the task, the admin will be happy to take over.
Rules
1) You are allowed to add 5 photos each week into the pool, bearing in mind that they should adhere to the weekly theme.
2) Be objective but nice, no attacking of other photographers.
3) Refrain from posting extreme and distasteful nudity.
4) Photos submitted for the weekly contests have to be taken specifically for the week’s theme, no old photos.
5) Entries must be in the group pool.
6) Only ONE entry per contest.
