About The Light Brigade

The Light Brigade is a group of Dunedin-based photographers who have a philosophy of expanding their photographic skills by experimentation and trying new techniques in a group-based environment. The only requirement for membership of the group is that members participate in forum discussions and in the projects when they can (we're all busy people). Member's current level of photographic skill or type of equipment is unimportant - the important thing is the desire to learn new things and push their envelope.

Past projects include a street strobist shoot, holding a wildlife photography workshop, and an ongoing skatepark action/doco shoot. See the threads for past projects, and info and sites that people have found useful.

It is expected that photos posted in the Light Brigade will be commented on with what members like about it - and tips for possible improvement
