About the Jung Collective
A place to highlight one's own work and those of others and by so doing - arrive at a personal or collective understanding.
Dr. C. George Boeree explains that one could see Jung's idea of the collective unconscious as a "psychic inheritance. It is the reservoir of our experiences as a species, a kind of knowledge we are all born with."
This group idea consists of two parts. The first part called "the Jung Collective: the Self" is where you present images created by you.
Create a new thread in the discussion threads calling it the Jung Collective: plus your Flickr name... for example: the Jung Collective: Naccarato
Then insert at will any image you wish from your own image collection. To start off let us limit this to 3 images per day in your thread and in the group pool. Only your work is shown in this thread.
The 2nd part called "the Jung Collective" is where all of our work merges together. A thread will be created where at anytime you may insert one of your own images into this thread - thus contributing perhaps to a collective understanding - overview - of ourselves and the world around us. This thread can be found here: www.flickr.com/groups/thejungcollective/discuss/721575942...
I've created this pool in the belief that things seem to move much too fast here at Flickr. I wanted a place where we could stop to look at each others' work - individually and as a whole - and be able to reflect upon them.
