The Hammock Keepers

A group of people that have adopted the tiny little hammock on Little Tybee Island called "An Especially Beautiful Hammock".
Little Tybee Island is one of Georgia's most beautiful barrier islands. It is user friendly and always inviting. That is what we think of our little adopted hammock.
When I first came to the hammock it was nasty and trash littered it from one end to the other. Since then we have cleaned it out, Created a few primitive camping areas and cleared the island paths for hiking.
It is open to anyone and everyone who cares to use it. And we hope you all do use it. We only ask that you please take out what you bring in and leave only your foot prints. For most that comes easily, for the rest that can't manage that is why we are "The Hammock Keepers"
