About The Half: Photographs of Actors by Simon Annand (competition)
An exhibition at The Lowry, Salford Quays (Sat 19 September - Sun 3 January) featuring extraordinary portraits, taken over 20 years by Simon Annand, of some of our most celebrated actors, allowing us a rare glimpse into their more private moments, all taken within the 30 minutes leading to curtain up...
Have you taken photographs of the famous? Ever bumped into a star and couldn't resist taking a snap? Add your photos to our gallery of fame and the best shot (judged by Simon) will win a hardback copy of the book which accompanies this exhibtion, signed by Simon Annand.
Submit your photos by Mon 30 November to be in with a chance.
Simon Annand will judge the competition.

Quick rules:
- Photographs should relate to the theme of Simon Annand’s exhibition The Half.
- No one may enter more than 5 photos into the competition.
- You should provide a caption of where your photograph was taken and when.
- Advanced Digital Manipulation ie Photoshop is not allowed.
- The judge’s decision is final.
Submitting your photograph:
1. To enter the competition you must join Flickr, basic membership is free.
Visit Flickr Frequently Asked Questions for more information.
2. Join the group 'The Half: Photographs of Actors by Simon Annand (compettition)'.
Sign in to Flickr and visit the groups page and select Join this group? on the right of the page.
3. Upload and tag your photograph.
4. Add a description including when and where it was taken and the name of the actor/s photographed.
5. Add your pictures to the group 'The Half: Photographs of Actors by Simon Annand (competition)'. Go to your photographs own page on Flickr and select 'Send to group'.
6. This group is moderated so it may take a couple of days for your photograph to appear in the group.
