About "TheGoldenRatio"

This group is about photographically compositions which follow more or less the principles of the GOLDEN RATIO. Even in photography, the golden ratio is used for image-making, such as the French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

The golden ratio refers on the relations of image or page formats, as well as on the positioning of dominant lines (eg the horizon) and the arrangement of the subject within the image. It says, therefore, that the motive or main subjects of the image parts should not be located in the center, but more to the left or right outside or more into the top or bottom third of picture.

We don't claim that this is the very truth but there's some truth inside :-)
