Registered for the Carlsbad 5000

I just registered for the Carlsbad 5000. It takes place on April 1st. The 29 and under race is at 11:30am.
This leaves me with 5 and a half weeks to prepare to run my first competitive race since my junior year in high school (fall 2003).

How did the race go, by the way? I ran cross country and track in high school, but that was quite a bit farther in the past than 2003. It was 1981, to be exact. I haven't raced since, which might partially explain my current weight!

=) I did much worse that I wanted, however, I considered it a win for me because I finished, and I actually did it.
my time was i think 32:34
