Tagging your posts and photos
 |
For those of you that do know what tagging is, try to tag your posts and your photos with "the-diet". Just so we can have 1 universal tag that we all use.
For those that do not know, here is a quick tutorial for you.
To add "the-diet" to your photos on Flickr. Go to the photo you want to tag, and click "add a tag" on the right hand column. Add "the-diet" (no spaces inbetween the words, use the hyphen, then click Add.
To add "the-diet" to your posts on your blog. Copy and paste the following HTML and put it in every blog post, weigh in, or anything diet related on your site.
Join <a href="http://cdevroe.com/the-diet/" rel="tag">the-diet</a>!
Thanks in advance!

Will this technorati tag the post? My technorati-fu is very weak, but I'm willing to learn.

Brian (bovious): I am not sure what you are asking. But if you properly tag your post (either through your blog's tagging interface if there is one) or you literally write out the HTML (code) needed to do the tagging (as explained above) Technorati will - pick up those tags and automatically index your content under that tag.
Grab a cup of coffee and go through Technorati's help section:

Thanks, Colin - got it. I'd read that before but it hadn't sunk in. Consider it sunk. ;)
