06 Oct 09 - This group was created for the purpose of providing the animators of a documentary on climate change with high quality images that can be used in a stop motion animation. Only certain elements of a picture will be used for example; a sky, a tree or a building. Look in the discussion section for requests made by the animation team regarding motifs.

About The Cost- a film project

Change is a series of three partially animated documentaries being created by an international team of concerned artists and researchers. Through interviews with a broad spectrum of prominent experts and a fusion of diverse graphic styles, each feature length picture will provide an in-depth examination of a single aspect of climate change. The name, ‘Change’ is a double-entendre -both a warning and a call to action: We must both change and face change.

The three parts of the series are:

1.  The Cost: An examination of the impacts of anthropogenic climate change, and the effects of those impacts on humans.

2.  The Rhetoric: A broad discussion of the ethics of climate change, and
an exposé of its politics.

3.  The Answer: A thorough look at strategies for mitigation and adaptation.

This is a non-profit, strictly volunteer based project.
