About The Collective Unconscious

The Collective Unconscious is a place for images that look like they could have been plucked from a dream, memory or from deep within the psyche. We're looking for creative pieces that tell a story. We're looking for photographs laden with symbolism. We're looking for images that are thought-provoking, yet those which many can relate to on a deeper level. We're looking for your art, your vision, your soul, your emotion.

We are NOT looking for snapshots of the family Christmas get-together, the sweater you knitted, the vacation you went on, a beautiful sunset, or that pretty girl in a swimsuit. Those may be nice, but they don't belong here.

This group is for those photos that have a surreal, dream-like quality or contain archetypes and symbolism. It doesn't matter if it's straight out of the camera, manipulated in photoshop or other software or an illustration.

Discussion and participation are highly encouraged whether you're looking for help, information, a critique or have an idea for the group!
