Goodness me.. I'm thrilled that my picture of Dianne was chosen for the 'Blink of an Eye' exhibition.
It's just now 9:30am Thursday morning on a beautiful sunny winters day in Sydney, Australia which makes it a bit tricky for me to attend the exhibition in NYC!!
Congratulations to the others who were selected and to everyone who submitted an image to the pool... I encourage everyone to spend some time to browsing the rest of the images.. I've found many personal favs from the incredible selection.
There were so many amazing images for the jurors to select from, it must have been a Herculean task.. so an enormous thanks to them for their effort.
Thanks again, and Dianne will be thrilled with the news.. (she is being treated for an illness now..)

Wow, how awesome is it that I own a print of one of the winning shots?? I "won" that pic of Gayla's in the Katrina relief auction -- it's entirely worthy of winning Blink!

Congratulations to all!
I've been lurking (mostly because I'm coaching chamber music at a camp), but I've kept up with the ducks, meerkats and dogs. I did view each photo in the pool and was impressed and delighted with each and every one.
Congrats again and thanks to the judges!

Congrats to all the winners - it was a terrific show and an absolutely wonderful party. Heather is amazing for pulling this all together, and the panelists completed a huge task with aplomb.
Also it was great to see so many eyes upon the screen that had the slideshow running - every time I looked over there was a cluster of people hovering around.
Kudos all around! (And now I'll stop w. all the superlatives...)

i think they're great....gaylas pic is one of my all time faves and also one of the pics that started me off on my photographic journey....i'm really happy with the results.....congrats to everyone!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!! Those are some fine shots. I remember lingering quite a bit over a couple of them. I really enjoyed the opportunity to see one fave shot from so many photographers. Gave me a chance to discover quite a few new talented folk.
