About The Killer Bees (Post Invite Only)

The Motive

The great Kinky Friedmann once used the term "killer bees" in one of his books to describe something that was truly cool. I liked it. I use it. You should too.

It is like "the bee's knees, but only better. I think lots of things are "killer bees" like songs on the radio that remind you of times almost forgotten, or pistachio ice cream, or when my two (and a half) year old daughter mimics me in a way that makes me proud to be me.

I also think that a lot of photos on Flickr are "killer bees".

The Discipline

The Killer Bees are (or should be) a group of discerning individuals that know a damn good photograph when the see one. These photographs should make you stop for a second and tickle your imagination. If a member (that's you) thinks that something is "killer bees" then they (you) should (will) invite that photo back here to the Beehive.

The rules are simple. You can only post if you were invited (stung) and you do not have to comment on anyone elses photos unless you too think that their work is "killer bees". Members can invite as many photographs into the group as they want.

So get out there and sting some great photography!

Don't forget to show your support for the image brought into the Beehive, make sure to drop a Seen in the Beehive comment if you like what you see.
