About The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel
I recently spent a couple nights at The Balsams while photographing an event. This grand hotel and resort, located in Dixville Notch, NH was originally opened in 1866 and is the home of the first in the nation election, casting their votes at 12:01 am on election day.
I think this grand hotel deserves it's own little spot here on flickr. Please feel free to add any images of the hotel, the grounds and anything to do with the Dixville Notch area. I would also love to hear your stories about your stay at the hotel, especially from people who may have early memories of it from many years past.
