About The Artisan - a photographic study
Artisan (noun). A skilled manual worker; a craftsperson.
Objective:
Depiction of workers and their tools or environment, the ambiance or mood (e.g "an atmosphere of excitement, or intensity, or concentration"). Both new and historical shots welcome.
Examples:
Blacksmiths, carpenters, mechanics, tailors, hatters, bookbinders, sculptors, cobblers, boatmakers... in this group we slightly rely on the mediaeval idea of artisan as a skilled manual worker of any trade, perhaps even someone who is a master of his own and not necessarily employed by anyone in particular.
