31 Aug 07 - Bryanilona has been doing a fabulous job tracking down very cool photos and inviting them to the group! Cool!! We have so many members and so many pictures it's hard to keep up!! Thanks everyone for sharing your amazing images and hand built houses!! :D

Hey, the group is just getting bigger and better! Does anyone know how to make one of those invite thingys or one of those comment thingys? Maybe it's time we had one!! Drop me a flickrmail if you can help!!

Before digital photography, adobe meant mud bricks! This is the group for photos of mud brick houses, owner built houses, stone, straw bale, bottles, thatching, recycled materials, building techniques - anything ....as long as it is hand or owner built.

Who hasn't wanted to build their own nest? It's an instinct we all have and even though we think we couldn't possibly do it, given the opportunity, materials, skills and time, we could all be owner builders. Please post pictures of anything from little old stone cottages, to modern high-tech solar powered homes. Interiors, exteriors, details - it's all good, and it's all interesting to the owner builder in us all!

When posting an invited pic, should you have similar 'hand built house' pictures that you feel would also be interesting to the group, please feel free to post them too. :)
