About Fenn's, Whixall & Bettisfield Mosses

"The Mosses" is a National Nature Reserve on the English/Welsh border near Whithchurch, Shropshire. As a haven for various types of wildlife, the Mosses is one of the most important raised peat bogs in the UK. Its unique habitat is home to a host of invertibrate and other species thast are not easily seen elsewhere in the UK.

This group is in no way affiliated to the NNR, and is intended for those who like myself, stumbled upon it by chance, and just keep going back.
