About The London Hospital, Whitechapel

To share photos and memories of The London Hospital in Whitechapel

The London Hospital now known as the Royal London Hospital as part of the Barts & The London NHS Trust. The London Hospital was built in 1740. Over the last few years major rebuilding work has been going on at the hospital and many of the buildings have been demolished, most notably the Nurses Homes and the Swimming Pool. The Nurses Homes have been used as offices for many years prior to the demolition but there are many, many of us who have fond memories of living in the Nurses Homes.
