About The Lie of the Land (add one, comment one)

Yet another landscape group? Well, I hope this one will be a little different. The purpose of The Lie of the Land is to provide a focus for photographs based on natural landscapes, which demonstrate the structure of the landforms and the way in which light enhances them. It is not primarily about dramatic shots of vast mountains, or huge waterfalls, rather the hope is to encourage GOOD pictures of relatively ordinary scenes.

Please comment on at least one picture for each one you add.

A little photo-enhancing is allowable, but no extreme photoshopping.
