Fellini. Saturnalia. Brumalia. Winter Solstice in Pagan Rome is December 25. Christians move birthday of Jesus to this date in 336 A.D. Janus Day and Beginning of Calendar Year January 1, set in 153 B.C. and again in 45 B.C. Now can I be on Jeopardy and wear my Leopardy velvet jumpsuit and say that Santa contributes to the delinquency of overage minors like myself?

Yeah, Christmas has hijacked the ancient pagan celebration of midwinter and turned it into a torture fest. Frinstance, thousands of my orange cousins are persecuted in this horrific juice-thirsty christingle ritual.
