Whats it all about? well a gallery is a space for exhibitions and also a place for a permanent collection. To own and run a Gallery in the real world might just cost a little bit of money, but, in the even more real world that is Flickr i can build and CREATE a Gallery at the touch of the Keyboard. Id like this group to be about displaying Excellent, interesting and thought provoking work, which ive got to admit is abundant on Flickr. In all honesty this is a bit of an Experiment on my part and in all experimentation there is an element of not knowing and getting things wrong...so i might just make this up as i go along. RUles i dont like rules but you gotta have them.....so here they are. Ive Just changed the group to invite only and think that if artists contribute 1 image per day to start with the pool should grow into a very interesting colaboration. Treat the work you enter into the Gallery as though it were going up for selection to an EXhibition because it is.
Hopefully this group will provide a forum for like minded people to discuss their art and the art of others. Talking ARt is nearly as interesting as doing it.
