About Dean Heritage Centre
The Dean Heritage Centre tells the story of the Forest of Dean from the heart of the forest.
Five galleries share the history of a land formed by an industrial past and reveal a unique culture and people. In the five acres of beautiful woodland, well maintained paths take visitors into the lives of charcoal burners, traditional cottage-dwellers, and free miners.
