About Cre-aid/The way things go - 2007

This group is a contemporary interactive tribute to "The way things go - Der Lauf der Dinge", by Peter Fischli and David Weiss, 1987.

www.medienkunstnetz.de/werke/the-way-of-things/

"THE WAY THINGS GO - without narration or interviews - simply records the self-destructing performance of Fischli's and Weiss' most ambitious construction: 100 feet of physical interactions, chemical reactions, and precisely crafted chaos worthy of Rube Goldberg or Alfred Hitchcock."

This tribute is a skecthbook which aims to create an INTERACTIVE chainreaction between contemporary media like computer, cellphone, tomtom, sms, websites, usb-sticks, I-pods, etc.

Rules:
1. Pick a photo from the pool.
2. Have a look at the sketch.
3. Think of a way to react/ continue
4. Draw a sketch
5. Make a photo of it
6. Upload to your personal account
7. State in your description the actions your contribution will perform and the url of the photo it relates back to.
8. Upload your contribution to the pool
9. Go back to rule nr. 1

Have a blizz.

This project will be performed at STRP 2007 (IF ACCEPTED)

"FOR THE 2007 EDITION

STRP is looking for projects, installations, or proposals that concern
themselves with interactive art, robotics and/or Live Cinema (in the
live cinema category we are looking for projects that rely on both
performance and technology in order to become an audio-visual whole).
All of the above in a context in which the artistic side is furthered
by technology. This year we will also be paying special attention to
projects, which involve light in their concept, composition, and/or
execution."
