About The River Thames Tributaries

This group is for pictures of (and from) the tributaries which join the River Thames from Thames Head in the Cotswolds to the beginning of the sea. Here's a list of rivers. The ones in brackets are tributaries of tributaries.

Churn, Key, Ray, Coln, Leach, Cole, Windrush (Dickler), Evenlode (Glyme), Cherwell (Ray, Swere), Ock, Thame, Pang (Bourne, Rodden), Kennet (Enbourne, Lambourn, Dun, Og), Loddon (Broadwater, Blackwater), Wye, Colne (Misbourne, Chess, Cade, Ver), Bourne, Wey (Tillingbourne, Ock), Ash, Longford, Mole, Ember, Rythe, Hogsmill, Crane, Duke of Northumberland's River, Brent, Wandle, (Graveney), Westbourne, Tyburn, Effra, Fleet, Neckinger, Ravensbourne, (Quaggy), Lea, (Moselle), (Stort), (Beam), (Mimram), Rodding, Beam, Ingrebourne, Darrent and (Cray). If you know of any more please get in touch.

In addition pictures of or from backwaters and brooks which connect with the Thames are accepted.

Pictures of activities on the rivers, landscape, waterscape, townscape, buildings, structures, flora, fauna and of people enjoying the river are most welcome.

Please try to put titles on your pictures and a note in the description box on location. It's also helpful to others interested in these rivers and streams if they are geotagged on the map. Additionally, when appropriate, it would be good to have a note about what's going on in the photograph. Members of the group are positively encouraged to add comments on other member's pictures if they are able to add interesting or useful information.
