About Thames Ditton
Welcome to the Thames Ditton group on Flickr. This group is for pictures of Thames Ditton in Surrey, England. Thames Ditton is located south of the River Thames opposite Hampton Court Palace. It is bounded by the Thames to the north and north east, Hampton Court Way to the west and the Portsmouth Road to the south east. It has a large village green where people walk their dogs and cricket is played most weekends in the summer. Once the location of the AC Motor Company (of AC Cobra fame) it is now a quiet, leafy village with a church, a few shops, pubs, restaurants and houses. It has a railway station on the Hampton Court - Waterloo line.
