About TFCD / TFDVD

TFCD means Time for a CD of images.

This site is the meeting place for photographers and models looking to work on cooperative projects.

Wanna be a model? Get your portfolio done for free! Aim for a "for time" shoot - time for download (TFDL), time for CD (TFCD) or prints for time (PFT) i.e free of cost and you get the pics.

If you, the model, are in the process of building a portfolio, working for time will enable you to have work from different photographers in your portfolio. This will allow you to demonstrate your versatility as a model. It can also save you money.

Time for CD, time for download and prints for time seems to work best for (aspiring) models, who are committed to their work and who are able to express a photographer's and their own ideas.

What is TFP / TFCD / TF*? It's a cooperative way of models, photographers, and MUAs to work together to produce a mutually beneficial result. TF stands for "Trade For". TFP is Trade for Prints, TFCD is Trade For CD, TF* means either. Generally, the photographer will provide the model / MUA with a previously agreed upon number of pictures (prints or CD) in exchange for the Model's time in front of the camera / MUA's time doing makeup.
