About Carl Zeiss Tessar
A group for displaying images taken with the Tessar, the classic lens formula of four elements in three groups designed by Dr. Paul Rudolph of Carl Zeiss in 1902. Elegantly simple and extremely compact, the Tessar is known around the world for its outstanding sharpness. Due to the light weight of the design, the Tessar is also used in many telephoto lenses such as the Zeiss Tele-Tessar and the Vario-Tessar.
Please tag your images with the type of Tessar lens used, focal length, and camera.
