About Teens With A Purpose
This group is for all you teens out there who want to make a difference. You know there's something wrong and you want to fix it, you want to be heard. And we're here to listen.
Here you can post photos to do with any type of controversy, problem or just something that says something meaningful. You can do it about religion, the government, money, teen suicide, peace, war, etc.
The Dreaded Group Rules:
Don't worry we're pretty loose around here, but...
- Your pictures must have meaning! Don't post a picture of what you had for breakfast, this is Teens With a PURPOSE, so your photos should have PURPOSE.
-UPDATE: We understand that whether a picture has purpose is kind of perspective - but it would be nice if the photographer could give just a little bit of insight to let us know what they wished to portray in the photo; whether in the title, or description.
- Never put anything that is "anti-" something. I know, weird rule, but trust me. Everything is "pro-" something. So instead of anti-war, be pro-peace. Yes, you're allowed to put sad things that display war, but it's for the awarness of it so we can be PRO- peace. (just using war as an example its the same for any other subjects you might feel you would like to post)
- Nudity is allowed, but strictly for artistic use only! Nothing blatantly illegal. and don't show any... you know.
- Members should be within the ages of 12-19, please!
- If the meaning of the photograph isn't clear, please explain it, we would like to get the full benefit of your work!
UPDATE:
-Try to keep submissions to about 2-3 a day. Don't be excessive, that's no fun.
-For each day you submit a photo, comment on another one that you connect with in the pool. We all like feedback. This is per day you submit, not per photo.
-Please do not put down someone else's beliefs. We are here to tolerate and understand that we are all individuals and are all wonderful exactly the way we are. We aren't the same and don't think the same way. That's what makes us humanity.
See? That's not so bad.
Consequences:
not that any of you would ever need it, right?
- First you get two warnings.
-Then you get removed.
-And then you get banned.
But none of you will ever, EVER, get banned, 'cause you're perfect angels. ^__^
