So, this group really excites me. I love looking though the hundreds of thousands of images taken by other young photographers. Although when I look through the recent uploads, I wonder, where are all the landscapes? Trust me, this group has enough portraits and I like a good portrait as the next guy but it is lacking in landscapes. I didn't start this amazing group but I know there are members from all around the world here. You owe it to your self to for once stop taking photos inside and around your house. Go out there and have an adventure.

I'm going to start by posting a picture (small) and stating where it was taken.

Is this a "post your photo" thread, or a thread to talk about landscapes?
brainy shape [deleted] Posted 14 years ago
Both dude. Yea post your photos and tell us where you took it. Sorta introduce where you're from via landscape.
BMPHOTO| Posted 14 years ago
I'm fine with it, as long as you keep it talking about landscape, and dont make it a photo game thread.

A landscaper is someone who does landscaping.
BMPHOTO| Posted 14 years ago
Hahahaha^^^
brainy shape [deleted] Posted 14 years ago
Ha. Yea that's the plan but it doesn't really seem like anyone cares anyways...
nonstop party [deleted] Posted 14 years ago
I'm not a landscaper, it's like putting someone in a box. I have just a few landscape picture (just two on my Flickr) but I like to take pictures of beautiful landscapes when I see some.

Here is my favorite (I mean the favorite I took unh ?)

Ha everyone is so picky what they call themselves. I mean i just made that term up on the spot, and well, I'm not specific to landscapes myself. Anyways awesome seeing some people participate. Cool guys.

I'm 18, I have to change the limit until 20. Since "teens" does include 18, and 19.

for me, landscape photography is always tied in with minimalism. however thats probably because the type of landsscapes i like are minimalist ie

I've noticed I tend to do more landscapes after I got my Canon 17-40L, and I really like it, but now I want to do more "strobist" stuff, with people in it. I'll post some landscape pictures later!

Midnight Sun at Mallangen
The Dolomites, somewhere in Italy
Panorama Dolomiti

As I mentioned before, I've done quite alot of landscapes lately, and as much as I enjoy them, I'd like to do something else for my next Flickr uploads ... :) If anyone got any suggestions, please share (but maybe not here, since this thread is dedicated for landscaping)

I used to do a lot more landscape stuff, and I definitely do a lot more when I travel somewhere cool. This is from the Turnigan Arm in Alaska:

To the Corrcreation: Yeah, there really is a lack of landscape photographs on this group, which is a shame, as landscape photography is really enjoyable. No fidgeting models, thanks!

Here is one, taken last summer on my crappy compact camera:

I also like doing fairly abstract landscape photographs.

Hi there, I would consider myself a landscaper since most of my pictures are landscapes. Here are a few of the ones I like the most

Almost Home

This is probably the best photo I've ever taken. I completely love landscapes. I think they fit so well into my photo taking philosophy as a whole. I attempt (though I usually fail) to invoke a sense of emotion...in this case, a longing for home.

There's some awesome shots here!
Helen Chang Posted 13 years ago
I haven't done many landscapes, even though I love landscape photography. I did manage to take a lot of landscape photos when I was in Canada (or at least I think I did). I have yet to upload them though. This one is probably my favorite.
