What's everyone's claim to fame? Know or met anyone famous?
Mine (not really that great): When I was little I was babysat by the drummer in Razorlight, I've met the winner of X Factor, and my Grandpa used to work for the Queen.

NATHAN WARD! Where do you live in West Virginia?!
And digiframe, everyone has to start somewhere.
I would be thrilled to get a photo of mine published in even a local newspaper.
Stop giving people shit just because you've supposedly made it farther than them.
(:

"I used to go to a catholic school and once played the jesus dude and got to ride on a donkey, jesus is famous.
so that means I am.
so get on your knees."
WIN.
One time when I was six I won a coloring contest for a bank.
They hung my picture behind the counter and gave me a cake.
Get jealous.

you see the difference was it wasn't "supposedly" but it actually was.
also if you had cared to read it all, i wasn't saying that, but actually pointing out that some people are so desperate for compliments that they post things twice.
anyhu, back off and get involved in things that actually concern you.

I did read, and I was responding to the comment you made about how people shouldn't mention newpaper publishings because "no one cares", and how people "have no imagination" if that's what they're content with. To me that seems like a bit of a jackass thing to do, telling people that it means nothing to get published in a newspaper. Once again, just because you say you've made it further than everyone here or whatever the hell you're trying to say, everyone has to start somewhere, even if it's just a newspaper. (:

I've met all of the members of blue oyster cult backstage at a local show- my friend's mom worked at the venue. my grandma is a music historian and pretty well known in that world.. when I was young I apparently had dinner at elie wiesel's house (holocaust survivor, author of Night). i also got some street cred, if you will, from a fashion photographer from l.a named stephen danielian. I later saw him in an episode of america's next top model :D.
so yeah, I feel pretty lucky to have a few connections. i guess in connecticut being so close to the city and having a few influential family members, I've gained a few nice connections :D.

also, you said you were published in a national magazine, not to post it again and sound cocky but I need to prove you wrong, I was in an international magazine, I think I made it farther than you.
Also, it wasn't posted with several hundred others, about 8.

If you know anything about the Cameron Crazies, Duke Basketball, NCAA, ACC or college baskebtall at all...that's my claim to fame.
I've been in Sports Illustrated twice and on national T.V countless times because of the games. Its pretty sweet, I'm not gonna lie.
I know Alana Beard, Diana Taurasi, Lindsey Harding, Monique Currie,
My big bro Ali is also doing some movie work over in London/Tel Aviv.
Yup....so I guess that's about it.
My foster moms knew Whoopie Goldberg and used to print out the weekly or monthly fan letters for Santana.

Hmm. I met that guy who played Luke on Gilmore Girls. Does that count? He looks a tad skeevy in real life.
Santana supposedly lives near me, but I've never seen him. And Sean Penn. But I haven't seen him either. George Lucas apparently made an appearance at my friend's x-mas party, but I didn't go.
So...I've ALMOST met famous people. That counts, right?
