Very fun. thanks. But more interesting to me than this process is -- How did you make the "borders" themselves??

Hi - the borders I used today were free from a magazine I get, Digital Photo. However, the trick to making your own is fairly easy. You put a black shape on its own layer then use custom brushes to erase the hard edges. In Photoshop, open Windows>Brushes to customize shape dynamics, scatter and flow for brushes. Endless possibilities!

@ short term effect ~ that font came with Comic LIfe!
@ blazinhispazian ~ that is one kick ass photo. The border really adds to the overall effect.
