Welcome! This group is an effort to disseminate useful, generalizable knowledge about photography, and we'd like your help. The photos in our pool are only gateways to the topics we discuss. Before you post a topic or photo, please read the rules, which tells how to post and what we'd like to see. In particular, be on-topic (photographic technique, not computer software minutiae or one-time "how I did this" explanations) and don't duplicate topics (check the index, use the discussion search function).

There are dozens of Photoshop groups that discuss image manipulation. It would be best if Photoshop-specific issues were posted there. Post-processing topics are definitely welcome here, but please try to make it generic, and stress the concepts, not the specific actions.

Equipment -- For all your specific equipment discussion that isn't technique-related. (e.g. Which camera should I buy?)
