About Team UNICEF

On November 6, members of Team UNICEF took to the streets of New York to run the 26.2 mile journey in the 2011 ING New York City Marathon. Team UNICEF are active citizens running toward the day when zero children die from preventable causes. Each day, 21,000 children die from preventable causes and each member of Team UNICEF has committed to helping UNICEF achieve the day of zero preventable deaths of children worldwide.

Congratulations to everyone who ran in the marathon, especially members of Team UNICEF. We look forward to seeing your pictures!
